Hannah Mayr
Hannah is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and completed her PhD at La Trobe University in 2018 which investigated the effect of a Mediterranean diet on inflammation and adiposity in patients with coronary heart disease. She was awarded the Dietitians Association of Australia New Researcher Award for her PhD work. Hannah currently works at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane where she collaborates on a variety of research projects with other dietitians as well as medical specialists and exercise physiologists focused on lifestyle therapies for improving health outcomes in people with complex chronic conditions. Hannah is a Lecturer in the Bond University Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice and is passionate about teaching health students research skills.
