Lei Cheng
Lei Cheng received her PhD degree in biochemistry from University of Southern Denmark in 2011. She then joined Prof. Robert Fenton’s lab and worked as a postdoc in Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University. Her research has since then been focusing on to apply novel proteomics strategies and systems level analysis to study the molecular regulation/functions of kidney. In 2016, she became an assistant professor in the same institute. She has published 12 peer-reviewed articles in well-respected journals and has received several awards and travel grants, including Meritorious research award (APS), Postdoc travel award (ASBMB) and Lundbeck travel grants.
