Na Li received her Ph.D. in physiology in 2016 from University of Burgundy – Franche-Comté in Dijon, France, where she investigated the cardio-metabolic consequence induced by postnatal overfeeding in mice and the effect of moderate caloric restriction in adulthood in these mice. She then joined the laboratory of Dr. Nathalie Rosenblatt-Velin as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Cardiology of the University Hospital (CHUV) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her studies focused on the effect of brain natriuretic peptide on the revascularization after myocardial infarction. In 2019, she joined Dr. Olivier Staub’s laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology in UNIL. Her current work focuses on the role of aldosterone and the mineralocorticoid receptor in the regulation of the K+ switch pathway in the distal convoluted tubule (DCT) and connecting tubule (CNT).
