Søren Brandt Poulsen received his PhD in physiology and cell biology from Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University, Denmark, in 2014. Subsequently, he continued his carrier as post doc at Aarhus University and the VA hospital, San Diego, US. In 2018 he became Assistant Professor at Aarhus University. His research is focused on renal water and salt handling via various sodium channels/transporters and how they are involved in blood pressure regulation. He has published 20 peer reviewed articles of which 12 are as first author. He has received a number of traveling awards here among the ETG Meritorious Research Award at the EB 2017.
